This tasty, healthy recipe pairs chicken breasts with a creamy and tangy lemon sauce, featuring NutraSalt Lemon & Herbs low sodium seasoning. All of the flavor you want, with none of the high sodium content you don't. Now that's good!
Ingredients
4 Chicken breasts
4 tbsp. Margarine
3 tbsp. Flour
2 c. Sour cream
1 tsp. Lemon Herb NutraSalt
1/4 tsp. Pepper
1 c. Sliced fresh mushrooms
2 tbsp. Chopped parsley
4 Green onions, chopped
Grated rind of 1 lemon (optional)
3-4 tbsp. Lemon juice
Directions
Brown breasts lightly in margarine
Remove from skillet and place in casserole dish
Stir flour into butter remaining in skillet.
Cook 1 minute.
Add sour cream and seasonings
Simmer for 4 minutes
Add mushrooms, parsley, onions, lemon rind and 2 teaspoons lemon juice
Pour sauce over chicken breasts.
Cover and bake 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 degrees
Before serving, skim butter off top and stir in remaining lemon juice to taste.
